很多老年人晚上睡觉喜欢穿袜子,而有的人又觉得穿袜子会使得脚部血液循环不畅,导致脚部不舒服而影响睡眠,那么穿袜子睡觉到底是不是有利于睡眠呢?对健康到底有无益处呢?
穿袜子睡觉的3个好处
研究证明,穿袜子睡觉可以让你提前进入睡眠状态,并且夜醒的次数也会减少。其实,睡眠质量与核心体温下降的密切相关,核心体温缓慢下降有助于睡眠。穿袜子可以使双脚保持温暖,人体的核心体温缓慢下降,这也是穿袜子提高睡眠质量的主要原因。
1、新生儿防寒
新生婴儿体质比较弱,大脑体温调节中枢发育不完全,体温调节能力相对弱,建议在睡觉的时候穿着袜子,防止寒气入侵导致感冒生病。
另外,更年期的女性经常感觉身体温度快速上升,燥热,导致全身,盗汗、心悸及脸部潮红等等症状,穿上袜子有助于降低身体在夜间的核心温度,预防热潮红。
2、减少外周动脉疾病所致的发冷
外周动脉疾病包括雷诺氏综合症和脉管炎等等,此类人群往往末梢循环障碍,手脚发冷,穿袜子睡觉有助于保暖,增加血液循环,体改患者的舒适感,帮助快速入眠。
3、改善秋冬季脚后跟干裂
穿袜子可以减少水分流失,具有保湿的效果,可改善脚后跟的干裂。对于糖尿病患者,如果血糖控制不好,有糖尿病足风险的时候,冬天如果穿袜子睡觉或可起到保护作用,预防糖尿病足的发生。
当然,脚后跟天冷容易干裂的人,建议洗脚后涂抹上一点护肤霜或者凡士林润肤膏,效果也是相当好。
不建议有足部感染的人穿袜子睡觉
医生指出:如果有脚气或足部外伤的话,建议最好不要穿着袜子睡觉,因为脚气意味着足部有真菌感染存在,足部外伤则存在细菌感染可能。
而一旦这种情况下穿着袜子睡觉,则会对脚部起到保暖的效果,容易使脚部的温度持续升高,会导致出汗,使整个脚部的环境变得比较湿润。当我们脚部的环境变得湿润之后,会为真菌和细菌提供一个良好的生长空间,在一定程度上就能够促使脚气越来越严重。
温馨提示:如果你发现自己患上脚气或足部存在外伤之后,一定要让脚步多与空气相互交换一下,要增强脚部的透气性,尽量不要让它处在潮湿的环境当中,否则很有可能会使脚气反复发作。
